Hello,
I am a born Indian and now a US Citizen. My Son was born in the USA. (We now have OCI cards (Dual Citizenship)) We moved to Hyderabad in 2003 and my son has been going to school in Hyd since 9th Std and now will be completing XII (+2). We were filling out the forms for IIT and AIEEE exams and both ask if you are foreign or Indian. If I say foreign it says not qualified and if I say Indian we are not being truthful. Does anyone have any information on this?

@guyyam,
Sir, there is an option of Non Resident Indian (NRI) on the application,
so you can for that to respective officials.

For any entrance exams in india , we have to initially fill the application form that shows your eligibility for that particular exam.For iit entrance there is option for choosing nationality ... your child is born in USA..So your child comes under section NRI(Non Resident Indian).. This will be acceptable ......
