Foreign students searching an internship...

Hello everyone,

we are two swiss medical students (5th and 6th year) from Switzerland and would like to spend two months in Kerala to achieve a pediatric internship. Through the internet we got a very little idea of where to go, I mean in which hospital. We came to know about Amrita institute in Kochi, which looks great, but the e-mail adress is wrong and we don't get any reply to know if an elective is possible.

Century hospital also seems good. This is one of our choices because Alappuzha looks quiet and beautiful. But the hospital is actually in Chengannur, which is far away...Does anyone know about this place?

So our question is: does anyone of you know a good hospital in a quiet place, with lots of nature etc?

And maybe someone has the e-mail ID of a student at Amrita university? That would be great!

Hi Suma,

You will have better luck if you can call them and speak to them directly, try calling this number 0484-2801234 and try to speak with the dean. Most of the Indian universities are not actively collaborating with foreign universities so it is difficult to get information, in the future I am planning to open a service to help universities and students collaborate.
